David is deeply involved in every element of LUX, from guiding client expectations to troubleshooting challenging coding issues to virtually anything that pops up during the day. He not only keeps the trains running on time, he still finds time to build them, too. He has a knack for helping find the lines between what the client wants and what they need. Away from the office, David is the Commissioner of the United States Quad Rugby Association and provided play-by-play analysis for the sport at the London Paralympics.
With a foundation in coding, Steve now runs projects and coordinates with Business Development and Client Strategy and Development to ensure that the needs of current and prospective clients are being met. Because LUX is such a collaborative environment, Steve spends much of his time mentoring and encouraging team members on their projects which keeps him critically involved in all aspects of development. Steve is also a dedicated disc sports participant and is on the boards of multiple disc sport organizations.
In addition to being one of the founding partners, Kris is a dedicated programmer who is passionate about delivering the best work possible. Kris oversees the work of the programming teams to make sure every solution is buttoned up and brings your vision to reality. As the self-proclaimed company historian, Kris knows the ins and outs of every piece of code that’s gone out the door. Kris loves narratives, whether they’re in movies, books or code.
